But in the post and comment above, I've used square brackets. Why? Yep, the WYSIWYG editor reads it as a formatting tag, so it doesn't display on the page (instead, it makes everything after it bold or italic). So I've typed square brackets instead. (I bet I could find a workaround for this if I invested a little more time. However, problem-solving at that depth is reserved for my clients....) I created and formatted this post (using the Wordpress WYSIWYG editor, of course). Made one small change, right up there where it says "ugh" -- and pow! everything after it is in bold. I've fixed it (using HTML source view to remove an extra [strong] tag that the editor inserted). There’s irony for ya.
